Community Outreach

A justice system worthy of public trust must be shaped by the people it serves. That's why community engagement and outreach is so critical to the work of the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office.

We are intentional about showing up across Franklin County — in neighborhoods, schools, community centers, and public gatherings — and building relationships with those most impacted by the justice system. We spend time with crime victims, returning citizens, youth, and neighborhood leaders to understand their experiences and learn from their insights.

These conversations shape how we do our work and ground our efforts in real-world needs. Being present in the community also reinforces our commitment to transparency and accountability, and strengthens our partnerships with those on the front lines of violence prevention and victim advocacy.

Addressing the root causes of crime and breaking cycles of violence takes effort that is visible, accessible, and deeply connected to the people it serves. Community engagement is how we build that connection and create a safer, stronger Franklin County together.
