Covid 19 Impact on Office Procedures

Updated 8-18-20

In response to mandates from local, state and federal authorities concerning the COVID19 pandemic and to keep our employees and the public safe, employees of the Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney’s office located in the government complex are teleworking from home or coming to the office very infrequently.

Arraignments in Common Pleas Court occur three days a week and are held in the afternoon.  Grand Jury sessions are held 5 days a week and cases are scheduled to  ensure as much separation of witnesses as possible.

Our employees are checking voicemails and emails daily.  Witnesses and victims may still contact their victim advocate or prosecutor via email and phone.  The main office phone number, 614-525-3555 is being monitored and all calls will be forwarded to the appropriate employee for response.  Prosecutor email ([email protected]) will be monitored.
