Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced that at 5:00 p.m., November 3, 2010, Franklin County received a copy of a motion from the U.S. Department of Justice to intervene in the case Shreve v. Franklin County, et al.  Officials from Franklin County are currently reviewing this filing. No other comments can be made at this time by Franklin County or any other party as these matters are pending litigation. The hearing that was scheduled for Monday, November 8, 2010, was cancelled by the court.
