23 YEAR OLD FEMALE INDICTED FOR MULTIPLE ARMED ROBBERIES

Defendant: Monique Myshay Knekleian

Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien said, “This woman committed seven robberies in Franklin County over the time span of one week in order to support her drug addiction.”  Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced today that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned an indictment against Monique Myshay Knekleian, age 23, for robberies that occurred between July 25th and July 30th, 2017 in Franklin County.  Knekleian has been indicted for six counts (F-1) Aggravated Robbery with Specification, six counts (F-2) Robbery with Specification, six counts (F-3) Robbery with Specification, one count (F-2) Robbery, and one count (F-3) Robbery, for a total of twenty counts.  The indictment alleges Knekleian robbed the following locations:

07/26/17          Kroger/4485 Refugee Road/Columbus
07/26/17          Walgreens/2615 Brice Road/Columbus
07/28/17          CVS/4548 E. Main Street/Whitehall
07/29/17          Walgreens/6266 Gender Road/Canal Winchester
07/30/17          Kroger/6095 Gender Road/Canal Winchester
 
 
O’Brien commended the Columbus, Reynoldsburg, and Whitehall Police Departments and the Fairfield County Sheriff’s office for their diligence and investigation of the case.  Arraignment for Knekleian is set for Monday, August 21, 2017, at 1:30 pm in courtroom 2B at 345 S. High Street in downtown Columbus.
