Defendant: Virsna Angel Sieng

Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced today that Virsna Angel Sieng, age 41, was sentenced today after previously being found guilty of Possession of Drugs and Having a Weapon Under Disability following a four day jury trial in October.  On July 7th, 2014, a search warrant was executed at the home of Sieng at 5521 Mirage Drive in Hilliard.  Police confiscated over half a kilo of cocaine, a firearm, and other drug trafficking paraphernalia.  Sieng was indicted for Possession of Cocaine with a Firearm Specification, a first degree felony as a major drug offender, and Having a Weapon Under Disability, based on a prior Trafficking in Cocaine conviction from 2004.    Today Judge Stephen McIntosh sentenced Sieng to serve 15 years in prison.  O’Brien commended the Hilliard Police and the Columbus Police Department HIDTA Task Force for their thorough investigation of this case.
