STATE AND FEDERAL PROSECUTORS JOIN TO PROSECUTE INDICTMENT ON DESHAUNE STEWART FOR MURDERS OF TWO US POSTAL WORKERS

Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien and United States Attorney Benjamin C. Glassman both announce that a Federal Grand Jury has returned a double murder indictment on DeShaune K. Stewart, age 24, in connection to the December 23^rd, 2017 murders of United States Postal Employees Lance Herrera-Dempsey, age 52, and Ginger Ballard, age 53. The case will be prosecuted by The United States Attorney’s Office and Ron O’Brien’s First Assistant Chief of the Criminal Division James Lowe, who is a Special Assistant United States Attorney named to the prosecution team for the prosecution of this case in federal court.
