Prosecutor Ron O’Brien said, “This man died three days after he was found lying on a bed in a motel room with a phone cord wrapped around his neck.”  Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announces that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned a two count indictment on Adea Lejuene Williams, age 37, in connection to the July 22nd, 2018 strangulation of her boyfriend Marshall E. Williams, age 35, that occurred at the Super 8 Motel located at 1078 E. Dublin-Granville Road on the north side of Columbus.  Adea Williams has been indicted for  two counts of murder.  “There are two murder charges regarding the one victim death because there are different methods to commit the crime of murder and the Prosecutor’s Office typically charges all methods,” O’Brien stated.  Shortly after Marshall was found in his room, he was transported to the hospital in critical condition.  He succumbed to his injuries three days later.  Arraignment for this case is set for Friday, August 3rd, 2018, at 1:30 pm in courtroom 2B at 345 South High Street in downtown Columbus.
