MAN INDICTED FOR ENGAGING IN INAPPROPRIATE SEXUAL BEHAVIOR WITH 4 JUVENILES

Prosecutor Ron O’Brien said, “This man engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior with 4 juveniles ranging in age between 13 and 16 years old.” Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced today that the Franklin County Grand Jury has indicted David Jude Kerscher, age 34, for three counts of Pandering Sexually-Oriented Matter Involving a Minor (F-2), one count of Gross Sexual Imposition (F-4), and four counts of Disseminating Matter Harmful To Juveniles (F-5), for a total of eight counts. Between March 12, 2016 and July 11, 2019, it is alleged in the indictment that Kerscher engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior with four juvenile victims. “If convicted on these charges, Kerscher faces numerous years of incarceration as well as registration as a sex offender,” O’Brien stated. O’Brien commended the Westerville Police Department for their investigation of this case. Arraignment for Kerscher is scheduled for Wednesday, September 18th at 1:30 pm in courtroom 2B at 345 S. High Street in downtown Columbus.
