ANTHONY PARDON FOUND GUILTY IN THE MURDER OF 24 YEAR OLD RACHAEL ANDERSON; DEATH PENALTY PHASE OF TRIAL TO START NEXT WEEK

Defendant: Anthony James Pardon

Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced that following a thirteen day jury trial, a Franklin County jury has returned a guilty verdict on Anthony James Pardon, age 55, in connection to the January 28th to January 29th, 2018 kidnapping, rape, aggravated murder, aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary of Rachael Nicoletta Anderson, age 24, that occurred at her apartment located at 3044 Allegheny Avenue in the Cardinal Creek Apartments on the east side of Columbus. 

The mitigation/sentencing phase for this death penalty case will begin on Tuesday, February 18th, 2020, at 9:00 am in courtroom 4B before Judge Stephen McIntosh at 345 South High Street in downtown Columbus.
