Brandon Jamal Price, age 30, has been indicted for one count of Aggravated Murder, two counts of Murder and one count of Having Weapons While Under Disability (all counts with Firearm Specifications) for the March 21st, 2020 murder of Ricardo Fredrick Henderson, age 32, that occurred just before 6:00 pm in the McDonald’s parking lot located at 2520 S. Hamilton Road.  Police and Medics were dispatched to the scene.  Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.  “Detectives were able to obtain surveillance video which captured the  two suspects exiting the victim’s vehicle and getting into a 2002 burgundy Honda CRV and leaving the scene,” O’Brien further stated.  Price was arrested by SWAT near his home in the 2002 Honda CRV.
David Allen Reid, age 51, has been indicted for two counts of Murder for the March 25th, 2020 murder of Marcus G. Ware, age 55, that occurred just before 6:00 pm in a residence located in the 500 block of E. Stewart Avenue where both men lived in Columbus.  “It is alleged that following an ongoing dispute between the two men, Ware was beaten to death,” O’Brien stated.  Police arrived and immediately took Reid into custody.  Medics arrived at the scene and pronounced Ware deceased.
O’Brien commended the Columbus Police Department for their investigation in both of these cases.  Arraignments for Price and Reid are set for Friday, April 3rd  at 1:30 pm in courtroom 2B at 345 South High Street in downtown Columbus.
