MAN INDICTED FOR RAPE AND GROSS SEXUAL IMPOSITION OF CHILD WANTED BY THE FBI

Defendant: Chaminda Prabhath Palliyaguru

On April 21, 2020, an arrest warrant was issued for Chaminda Prabhath Palliyaguru in the Franklin County Common Pleas Court after he was charged with one count of rape of a minor child, under the age of 10, and three counts of gross sexual imposition.  On April 22, 2020, Palliyaguru was charged federally with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution by the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, Columbus, Ohio, and a federal warrant was issued for his arrest.  If you have any information concerning this suspect, please contact authorities.  Please see this link for additional information:
