SERIAL ROBBER INDICTED FOR 15 ROBBERIES DURING 3 WEEK CRIME SPREE

Defendant: Field Nicole Harris

Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien said, “14 of the 15 robberies this man committed during a 3 week crime spree were armed robberies.”  Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced today that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned a 60 count indictment against Field Nicole Harris, age 51, for robberies that occurred between August 16th through September 10th, 2020.  The counts in the indictment include Aggravated Robbery and Robbery (most with Firearm Specifications), Kidnapping with Specification, Robbery, Receiving Stolen Property and Having Weapons While Under Disability.  The indictment alleges Harris robbed the following locations:

“The WUD counts in the indictment are based on Harris’ 1998 conviction in Richland County and his 2012 conviction in Cuyahoga County.  The robberies in this indictment took place in Franklin, Fairfield, and Delaware Counties,” O’Brien stated.  As stated in the indictment, Harris engaged in a pattern of theft offenses using a similar modus operandi which consisted of driving a silver vehicle with tinted windows, wearing similar clothing and shoes, usually brandishing a silver handgun in his left hand, and approaching the cash registers with smaller items to get the cashier to open the cash drawer.
