MAN INDICTED FOR GROPING TWO YOUNG GIRLS IN KROGER PARKING LOT

Defendant: Sidney Lamar Latham

Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien said, “This stranger grabbed two young sisters in a sexual manner as they were loading groceries in their mom’s vehicle.”  Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned a two count indictment against Sidney Lamar Latham, age 35, in connection to a groping incident that occurred on September 18, 2020 in the Kroger parking lot located at 3588 Gender Road in Canal Winchester.  Latham has been indicted for one count of Gross Sexual Imposition (F3) and one count of Sexual Imposition (M3).  “This defendant also currently has two misdemeanor cases for Sexual Imposition pending in Franklin County Municipal Court from two other unrelated incidents that occurred earlier this year,” O’Brien stated.  Arraignment for Latham is set for next Monday, October 12^th, 2020 at 1:30 pm in courtroom 2B at 345 S. High Street in downtown Columbus.
