Casey Goodson, Jr. Matter

The Franklin County Prosecutor’s office would like to provide a brief update in the Casey Goodson, Jr. matter after the release of the autopsy report by the Franklin County Coroner on Wednesday, March 17th. Investigations take a substantial amount of time to complete, and we understand that this weighs heavily on the community and all parties involved. The matter is still under joint investigation with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio. There is no additional information at this time. Prosecutor Tyack is committed to transparency as well as protecting the integrity of the case. The office will continue to provide updates to the community when it can be publicly shared.
