Devon Bias Found Guilty in Trial

Defendant:

Devon Bias, 35, appeared in court on of two counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder last week, in addition to three counts of felonious assault, and improperly discharging of a firearm into a habitation. The two counts of murder were for the deaths of two individuals – one was a minor who was a passenger in a vehicle that was targeted by Bias, and one adult individual who was asleep in a residence and was hit by a stray bullet. Bias waived his right to a jury trial, and as such, the matter was tried before Judge Michael Holbrook by Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Jason Manning. Judge Holbrook found Bias guilty on all counts. Sentencing is scheduled for May 24.
