Andrew Mitchell Mistrial

The jury in the case of The State of Ohio v. Andrew Mitchell has reported to the Court that they are unable to reach a verdict as to either count in the indictment.
The Court has declared a mistrial as to both Count One: Murder, and Count Two: Voluntary Manslaughter.
The State of Ohio, through the office of Gary Tyack, Franklin County Prosecutor, wishes to thank each juror for their hard work and dedication to their task of considering this case.
The State of Ohio will be carefully reviewing all available options to bring finality to this matter and will make a public announcement in several days.
