Woman charged with murdering 5-year-old boy arraigned in court and held on $4 million bond

Pammy Maye, 48, who has been charged with one count of aggravated murder, three counts of tampering with evidence and one count of abuse of a corpse in the death of Darnell Taylor, a 5-year-old boy in her care, pleaded not guilty today during her arraignment in the Franklin County Commons Plea Court. She is being held on a $4 million bond.

“I have selected Deputy Chief Counsel Anthony Pierson and Assistant Prosecutor Daniel Meyer to lead the prosecution of this case given their experience as prosecutors,” said G. Gary Tyack, Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney.

“Daniel and I will take every step possible to achieve justice for Darnell Taylor,” said Pierson.
