22 People Indicted In Connection To The Sale Of Counterfeit Merchandise

Defendant: 22 Involved In Counterfeit Products

Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced today that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned indictments against twenty-two separate individuals allegedly involved in the sale of counterfeit products at the Eastland Flea Market, located at 4101 Refugee Road in Columbus. The charges range from F-4 to F-5 Trademark Counterfeiting. Those indicted are: Mamadou Kone, Mamadou Baro, Amadou Sy, Ibrahima Jalloh, Baba Ba, Sidya Diallo, Oumar Diallo, Alassane Diallo, Alassane Ly, Siradjou Baro, Bamba Fall, Alassane Bass, Mamadou Ndiaye, Abdulrahman Keita, Ibraham Dia, Michel Samba, Mahamadou Kane, Mansour Ba, Alassane Kane, Amadou Sall, Mohamed Bah, and Saidou Sau. Various counterfeit name brands being sold at the Flea Market were D&G Dolce Gabana, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Prada, Gucci, Nike, Coogi, and so forth.   “According to investigators, this is believed to be the largest counterfeit merchandise raid in the state, with the amount of property seized in the millions”, O’Brien stated.
