31 COUNT INDICTMENT HANDED DOWN TO SUSPECTED PREDATOR FOR SEX OFFENSES INVOLVING 6 PRE-TEEN VICTIMS

Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien said, “This man raped his two adopted daughters and committed sex offenses against 4 of their friends.  All involved victims were 12 years old or younger.”  Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned a 31 count indictment against Darvin Wayne Russell, age 51, for nine counts of Rape (F-1), one count of Illegal Use of Minor in Nudity-Oriented Material or Performance (F-2), six counts of Endangering Children (F-2), seven counts of Gross Sexual Imposition (F-3), four counts of Importuning (F-3), and four counts of Compelling Prostitution (F-3).  “It is alleged that between the years of 2012 to present, Russell has committed various sex offenses involving the six girls that ranged from asking them to expose themselves, posing in various states of nudity, and touching various parts of their bodies, oftentimes in exchange for money,” O’Brien stated.
