55 Year Old Man Found Guilty of Raping 8 & 14 Year Old Girls While his Girlfriend Held Them Down

Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien said, “this man faces a potential sentence of life in prison following a weeklong trial where he was found guilty by the jury for the rape of two young girls.”  Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced today that Alberto P. Hernandez, age 55, was found guilty of four counts of rape, in connection to the sexual assaults that occurred between June 9, 2014 and February 4, 2015 to a then 8 year old and a 14 year old at the home where he lived located at 2897 Atwood Terrace in Columbus.  Hernandez raped both of the girls while his girlfriend Tracy Ann Glover, age 44, was present and participating in the assaults.  On January 11, 2016, Glover plead guilty to two counts of rape.  As part of her plea, she will be required to register every 90 days for life, as a Tier III sex offender.  Both the defense and prosecution have made a joint recommendation of Glover serving ten year in prison when she is sentenced on June 9th, 2016.  Hernandez is scheduled to be sentenced on Tuesday, May 31st.
