Aggravated Murder Indictment Of New Jersey Man - Death Penalty Specification Included In Indictment

Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announces that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned a death penalty indictment on Daniel Teitelbaum, age 45, in connection to the March 10, 2011 murder of Paul L. Horn, age 54, that occurred in the victim’s Grove City apartment located at 3574 Gateway Lakes Drive. Horn owned Platinum Players Club at 3131 Broadway in Grove City and Celebrities Social Club at 5891 Scarborough Boulevarde on the east side of Columbus. Teitelbaum was indicted for one count of Aggravated Burglary with Specification (F-1), one unclassified count of Aggravated Murder with Specification, one unclassified count of Murder with Specification, and one count of Tampering with Evidence (F3), for a total of four counts.
Prosecutor Ron O’Brien has designated Assistant United States Attorney Deborah Solove as an Assistant Franklin County Prosecutor and she has been assigned with Assistant County Prosecutor Marla Farbacher to prosecute the case, which will be handled in State Court. The FBI, the Grove City Police and Solove worked the investigation of this crime. United States Attorney Carter Stewart and Prosecutor Ron O’Brien cited this case as yet another example of how their offices work cooperatively together to prosecute the most serous crimes. Arraignment for this death penalty case is set for Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at 1:30 pm in courtroom 2B at 345 South High Street.
