Defendant: Roy Lee Harvison

Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announces that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned a death penalty indictment on Roy Lee Harvison, age 25, in connection to the April 1, 2015 murders of Jenea R. Harvison, age 29 and her brother Donnel McDonald, age 23, that occurred in the parking lot of the corporate offices of Success Kidz located at 985 Parsons Avenue.  Harvison was indicted for two unclassified counts of Aggravated Murder with Specifications.  It is alleged that Harvison first shot McDonald, who was sitting in a car, and Harvison then shot Mrs. Harvison as she ran away from the car.  It is further alleged that Harvison then walked over to his wife and fired additional shots at her, and Harvison then proceeded to walk back to the car and fired more shots at her brother.  Arraignment for this death penalty case is set for tomorrow, August 7, 2015, at 1:30 pm in courtroom 2B at 345 South High Street.
