Death Penalty Indictment On Accused Killer Of Pregnant Mom, Husband Wounded, Baby Saved

Today, Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned a death penalty indictment against Keywan Tarran Conner, age 26, in connection to the Clinton Township shootings that occurred on February 28, 2011, which resulted in the death of a pregnant mom, Tenishia Latham, age 25, and the wounding of her husband, Larry Latham, age 28. Both victims were shot in the head. Tenishia was transported to Riverside Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, however, physicians were able to successfully deliver the couple’s baby.

Conner was indicted for three (Unclassified) counts of Aggravated Murder with Specification, two counts of Attempted Murder with Specification (F-1), one count of Aggravated Burglary with Specification (F-1), one count of Aggravated Robbery with Specification (F-1), and one count of Having Weapon While Under Disability (F-3), for a total of eight counts. O’Brien said, “this is a tragic crime that has left four children without their mom”. Arraignment for this death penalty case will be this Friday, April 22, 2011 at 1:30 pm in courtroom 1A.
