Defendant: Rex Allen Hamilton
Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced today that the Franklin County Grand Jury has indicted Rex Allen Hamilton, age 58, for one count (F-3) Aggravated Vehicular Homicide, one count (F-3) Failure to Stop After an Accident, and one count (F-3) Tampering with Evidence, for a total of three counts, in connection to the July 5, 2014 hit-skip accident that occurred near the intersection of W. The passenger on the motorcycle, Lena Clark, age 38, did not survive the crash. “If convicted on these charges, Hamilton faces a maximum sentence of eleven years incarceration,” O’Brien stated. Arraignment for Hamilton is set for Wednesday, October 24th at 1:30 pm in courtroom 2A at 345 S. High Street.
