DRIVER OF HAMILTON ROAD HEAD-ON HIT-SKIP CRASH THAT KILLED UNBORN BABY AND INJURED TWO WOMEN INDICTED FOR AGGRAVATED VEHICULAR HOMICIDE

Prosecutor Ron O’Brien said, “The tragic death of this unborn baby and injury to two women was the result of this man’s decision to drive while intoxicated”.  Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced today that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned a ten count indictment against Tony Shea Muldrow, age 38, in connection to the August 13, 2016 head-on hit-skip crash that occurred in the intersection of Hamilton Road at Dundee Avenue on the east side of Columbus.  It is alleged that Muldrow recklessly drove his truck left of center striking a Honda Accord head-on that was occupied with two female passengers, one of whom was pregnant.  Muldrow fled the scene and was apprehended a short time later.  The driver of the Honda, Roseline Keni, age 36, was stopped in the left turn lane at the time of the crash.  Her pregnant passenger, Ghislain Ngolo, age 23, lost her baby as a result of the impact.  Both women were injured during the crash, but survived the accident.  The counts in the indictment include Aggravated Vehicular Homicide, Aggravated Vehicular Assault, Vehicular Assault, Failure to Stop After an Accident, and Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol, a Drug of Abuse or a Combination of Them.  Following the crash, Muldrow’s BAC level was 0.186 grams.
