Family Member Indicted For Rape Of 3 Year Old Toddler

Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced today that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned an indictment against Charles Turberville, age 57, in connection to the July 4th, 2013 sexual abuse of a 3 year old toddler which occurred in the home of a family member in Franklin County. Turberville has been indicted for two counts (F-1) Rape, one count (F-2) Pandering Obscenity Involving a Minor, and one count (F-2) Illegal Use of a Minor in a Nudity Oriented Material or Performance, for a total of four counts. The defendant allegedly performed sexual acts on the toddler and also videotaped having physical contact with the child. “If Turberville is convicted for the rape of this toddler under 13 years of age, he faces up to life in prison”, O’Brien stated.
