FORMER HUBER RIDGE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PTA PRESIDENT INDICTED FOR GRAND THEFT

Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announces that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned an indictment against Heather E. Robertson, age 29, for one count (F-4) Grand Theft. Robertson was the former PTA President for Huber Ridge Elementary School within the Westerville City School system. In October of 2013, an internal investigation and audit began on the school’s PTA account. It is alleged that between January 1, 2012 to July 8, 2013, there was a total of $24,633.00 in missing funds that had been received by Robertson from special events at the school or were taken from PTA bank accounts. “If found guilty on this charge, this former PTA President in the Westerville School District faces a maximum 18 months incarceration”, O’Brien stated.
