Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announces that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned a six count indictment against Lester Eugene Thimmes, age 65, for two counts of Involuntary Manslaughter (F-1), two counts of Corrupting Another With Drugs (F-2), one count of Illegal Manufacture of Drugs (F-2), and one count of Tampering with Evidence (F-3), in connection to the August 25, 2014 overdose deaths of Shawna M. Several hours later a home health care nurse discovered and reported the deceased individuals inside the apartment. “If found guilty on these charges, Thimmes faces significant time in prison,” O’Brien stated. O’Brien commended the Columbus Police for their investigation of this case. Thimmes arraignment is set for this Friday, March 25th at 1:30 pm in courtroom 2B at 345 S. High Street in Columbus.
