INDICTMENT FILED ON 4 PEOPLE INVOLVED IN .49 KILOS HEROIN AND 17.07 KILOS COCAINE TRAFFICKING IN COLUMBUS

Defendant: Jose Mozeno Lopez, Adriana Guadalupe Gutierrez-Santana, Claudia S. Ojeda-Gonzalez,Brandy Kynesha Franklin

Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced today that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned indictments against four separate individuals involved in drug trafficking between April 12 to April 13, 2016.  Individuals indicted are as follows:

 

            Jose Mozeno Lopez, age 33, Dublin, OH  43017

            Adriana Guadalupe Gutierrez-Santana, age 35, Dublin, OH  43017

            Claudia S. Ojeda-Gonzalez, age 20, Columbus, OH  43228

            Brandy Kynesha Franklin, age 20, Columbus, OH  43228

          

The seven counts in the indictments include two counts of Possession of Cocaine (F-1), two counts of Trafficking in Cocaine (F-1), one count of Possession of Heroin (F-1), one count of Trafficking in Heroin (F-1), and one count of Aggravated Funding of Drug Trafficking (F-1).  On April 13, 2016, police initiated a traffic stop as they observed a vehicle that did not have a front plate.  During the stop, Police found .49 Kilos of Heroin and 3.7 Kilos of Cocaine in the car.  Later that evening, the Columbus Police Narcotics Bureau executed a search warrant at a location connected to the traffic stop, where they seized an additional 13.317 Kilos of Cocaine and over $100,000 in cash.  “The drugs confiscated have a street value of over 1.5 million dollars,” O’Brien stated.  O’Brien commended the Columbus Police Department, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, DEA, and the FBI for their investigation of this case.  Arraignment for all four defendants is set for this Wednesday, April 27th, 2016, at 1:30 pm in courtroom 2B at 345 S. High Street.
