Defendant: Raymond Eichenberger

Prosecutor Ron O’Brien stated that, “This act by a licensed attorney not only violates ethical and moral conduct but is also a punishable criminal act.”  The Franklin County Grand Jury has returned an indictment against Raymond Eichenberger, age 62, for one count (F-4) Forgery and one count (F-4) Theft, for a total of two counts.  Eichenberger is a local attorney with an address in Reynoldsburg.  It is alleged that in March, 2014, Raymond Eichenberger forged the signature of a client in order to receive payment for work he had performed.  “If found guilty on these charges, this local attorney faces a potential incarceration of 18 months on each charge.  This office recently learned that he was just suspended by the Ohio Supreme Court Disciplinary Counsel in another matter unrelated to these criminal charges,” O’Brien stated.  Eichenberger will be arraigned on July 11th at 1:30 pm in courtroom 2A at 345 S. High Street.
