Defendant: Randall Eugene Schisler

Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned a three count indictment on Randall Eugene Schisler, age 53, for one count Theft (F-4), one count Passing Bad Checks (F-5), and one count Theft (F-5), in connection to over 100 personal checks made out, in various forms, to the Paralyzed Veterans of America which were deposited into the defendant’s personal bank account, totaling over $5,000.00. Schisler worked for a company called Benefit Systems for several years, and the company solicited donations for the Paralyzed Veterans of America-Buckeye Chapter. In October of 2009, the PVA cancelled its fundraising contract with the company and the company ceased its operations. Between May and June 2010, Schisler called contributors to the PVA, and arranged to pick up the various donations which he then deposited into his personal account. Arraignment for Schisler is October 25th, 2010, at 1:30 pm in courtroom 1A.
