Man Indicted For Taking Mom To Abortion Clinic At Gunpoint

Defendant: Dominic L. Holt-reid

Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned  a six count indictment on Dominic L. Holt-Reid, age 28, for Attempted Murder with Specification, Kidnapping with Specification, Improper Handling of Firearm in a Motor Vehicle, Carrying Concealed Weapon and Having Weapon Under Disability, in connection to the October 6th, 2010 attempt by defendant to force his girlfriend, age 26, at gunpoint to go ahead with a scheduled abortion, which she was refusing to have that morning. The victim and the defendant already have one child together. Arraignment for Holt-Reid is tomorrow, October 20th, 2010, at 1:30 pm in courtroom 1A.
