Prosecutor Ron O’Brien said, “This neighbor and registered sex offender purposely sent two siblings on an errand away from home so he could make sexual advances on their third sibling as she was home alone showering.”  Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced today that the Franklin County Grand Jury has filed an indictment against James William Woodruff, Jr., age 43, for one count of Burglary (F-2), and two counts of Importuning (F-5), for a total of three counts, in connection to the August 21, 2016 incident where Woodruff entered the bathroom of the victim’s residence while she was taking a shower and made sexual advances towards her.  Arraignment for Woodruff is set for this Friday, September 2nd, at 1:30 pm in courtroom 2B at 345 S. High Street in downtown Columbus.
