Defendant: Kenneth Marshall

Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announces that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned an indictment against Kenneth A. Marshall, age 41, for one count (F-3) Theft, one count (F-2) Identity Fraud, and one count (F-5) Possessing Criminal Tools, for a total of three counts. It is alleged that from May 10, 2008 to April 2, 2013, Marshall was using the identifying information of man named Michael Weatherford, who does not reside in the state of Ohio. Over that time period, Marshall received medical care and services worth approximately $345,000 through the Ohio State University Medical Center.  The fraud and theft were discovered after Weatherford questioned why he was receiving dozens of bills for hospital visits he had not made. “If found guilty on these charges, the defendant faces in excess of ten years incarceration”, O’Brien stated.

Marshall will be arraigned on Wednesday, April 17th at 1:30 pm in courtroom 2B at 345 S. High Street.
