Preliminary Hearing scheduled for tomorrow waived by Wendell Callahan in connection to north-side triple murder case

Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced today that Wendell Callahan, age 35, has waived his preliminary hearing scheduled for tomorrow morning, January 26, 2016 at 9:30 am in connection to the murders of his ex-girlfriend, Erveena Hammonds, age 32, and her two daughters Anaesia Green, age 10, and Breya Hammonds, age 7.  “We are in receipt of Callahan’s preliminary hearing waiver for his scheduled court hearing tomorrow.  Typically following the preliminary hearing date we have 10 days to present a case to the Grand Jury.  This waiver gives us 60 days to present the case to the Franklin County Grand Jury”, O’Brien stated.  “We anticipate further investigation, as well as seeking records regarding the defendant, and the matter will be presented to the Grand Jury at a later date”, O’Brien further stated.
