Defendant: Donald Ray Feagin Sr., and Amanda Michelle Dehart
Prosecutor Ron O’Brien said, “These people provided women with housing and locations from which they conducted prostitution.” Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced today that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned indictments against Donald Ray Feagin Sr., age 64, and his girlfriend Amanda Michelle Dehart, age 33, for counts including Engaging in a Pattern of Corrupt Activity (F-1), Possession of Heroin (F-3), and Promoting Prostitution (F-4). The indictment alleges that the prostitution occurred between the time spans of December 1, 2013 through February 7, 2014 and December 1, 2013 through April 30, 2014 while women were living at the couple’s home located at 2061 Fairwood Avenue in Columbus. It is further alleged that the couple created sex-for-sale ads that they posted on backpage.com, and employed prostitutes in order to benefit financially. O’Brien commended the Columbus Police Department for their thorough and continuing investigation of this case. “If convicted on these charges, both defendants face a potential sentence in excess of ten year’s incarceration,” O’Brien stated. Arraignment for both defendants was set for this afternoon, Wednesday, December 28th, 2016 in Downtown Columbus.
