Suspect Exposing Self To Girls And Soliciting Sex Indicted

Defendant: Brent Hodges

Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced today that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned an indictment against Brent Hodges, age 23, for allegedly exposing himself to young girls and soliciting sex in Upper Arlington between April 13^th and May 25^th, 2011. Hodges has been indicted for three counts Public Indecency (M-1), three counts Disseminating Matter Harmful to Juvenile (F-4), two counts Attempted Public Indecency (M-3), and one count Importuning (F-3), for a total of nine counts. The female victims were between 7 to 12 years old. O’Brien stated, “These young ladies did an excellent job of reporting behaviors to their parents and to the police that they knew were not acceptable”. O’Brien commended the police for their investigation and apprehension of this suspect. Arraignment for Hodges is set for next Wednesday, June 8^th, 2011, at 1:30 pm in courtroom 1A.
