Suspected Serial Robber Indicted For Additional Multiple Robberies

Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced today that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned an indictment against Clinton Arong Agbor, age 20, for seven counts (F-1) Kidnapping with Specification, ten counts (F-1) Aggravated Robbery with Specification, ten counts (F-2) Robbery with Specification, and ten counts (F-3) Robbery with Specification, for a total of thirty seven counts, in connection to almost a dozen robberies that occurred over a 6 day time span from March 5th through March 10th, 2013, involving 11 victims. Agbor was indicted last summer for two attacks involving five women, and was indicted in March of this year for two robberies that occurred in the Clintonville area. “If found guilty on the charges in this most recent indictment, Agbor faces in excess of 50 years incarceration”, O’Brien said. O’Brien commended the Columbus Police Department for their diligence and continuing investigation of this case. Arraignment for Agbor is set for this Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at 1:30 pm in courtroom 2A at 345 S. High Street.
