TWO SUSPECTS INVOLVED IN HOME INVASION WHILE MOM AND TWO YEAR OLD WERE HOME ALONE INDICTED FOR AGGRAVATED ROBBERY

Prosecutor Ron O’Brien said, “one of these men held a gun to the head of a two year old little girl, while the other one pointed a gun at the mom, as they repeatedly demanded valuables from the victims.”  Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced today that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned indictments against two suspects in connection to a home invasion that happened at an apartment on the south east side of Columbus during the afternoon of May 10, 2016.  The following individuals that have been indicted are:

 

                                    Charles Shead, age 22, Columbus, OH 43229

                                    Rayshon Jermaine Smith, age 23, Columbus, OH 43232

                                  

             The counts in the indictments include Aggravated Burglary with Specification, Aggravated Robbery with Specification, Grand Theft When the Property is a Firearm or Dangerous Ordnance with Specification, Attempted Aggravated Burglary with Specification, Felonious Assault with Specification, and Tampering with Evidence with Specification.
