Westside Suspect Indicted For Multiple Robberies

Defendant: William Duke Six

Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced today that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned an indictment against William Duke Six, age 46, for 15 robberies committed over a 23 day span primarily on the west side of Columbus. Six has been indicted for fifteen counts (F-2) Robbery with Specification, fifteen counts (F-3) Robbery, three counts (F-1) Kidnapping with Specification, and one count (F-3) Tampering with Evidence, for a total of thirty-four counts. The indictment alleges Six robbed the following locations: 10/29/2012 Certified/3204 W. Broad Street 10/31/2012 Thornton’s/1771 Norton 11/01/2012 Certified/3204 W. Broad Street 11/03/2012 Herbert’s Market/1121 Sullivant Avenue 11/08/2012 Herbert’s Markey/1121 Sullivant Avenue 11/10/2012 Marathon/2860 Winchester Pike 11/10/2012 UDF/530 S. Hague 11/14/2012 Speedway/1505 Harrisburg Pike 11/14/2012 Mobil Mart/2635 W. Broad Street 11/15/2012 Thornton’s/2333 N. Wilson Road 11/15/2012 Mobil Mart/2635 W. Broad Street 11/20/2012 Herbert’s Market/1121 Sullivant Avenue 11/20/2012 Certified/1081 Frank Road 11/20/2012 Auto Zone/2141 W. Broad Street 11/20/2012 Advanced Auto Parts/2612 W. Broad Street Six had complicitors in some of the robberies. Emily Sue Snyder, age 22, has been indicted for participating in the four robberies that occurred on November 20th. Christopher Ray Mullins, age 27, has been indicted for participating in the Auto Zone and Advanced Auto Parts robberies. Both Six and Mullins have Repeat Violent Offender specifications in their indictments. O’Brien commended the police for their investigation into these crimes. O’Brien stated, ”If found guilty on all charges, Six faces a maximum sentence exceeding 50 years”. Arraignment for Six is set for Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at 1:30 pm in courtroom 2A.
