MURDER INDICTMENT FILED ON WOMAN FOR FATALLY SHOOTING HER SISTER

Prosecutor Ron O’Brien said, “Following an altercation inside, this woman followed her sister as she was leaving out through the side door of the house that leads to the driveway, and she shot her sister in the head, killing her.”  Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announces that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned a two count indictment on Anjoure Lawrence, age 35, in connection to the February 23, 2019 murder of her sister Sade Carrie Garner, age 32, that occurred outside of a house located in the 3100 block of E. 13^th Avenue in northeast Columbus.  Lawrence has been indicted for two counts of Murder with Firearm Specifications.  “Officers and medics were dispatched to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased shortly thereafter,” O’Brien stated.  Arraignment for Lawrence is scheduled for March 20^th, at 1:30 pm in courtroom 2A at 345 South High Street in downtown Columbus.
