FOUR SUSPECTS INVOLVED IN VIOLENT HOME INVASION INDICTED FOR AGGRAVATED MURDER

Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced today that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned indictments against four separate adults in connection to a home invasion that happened on the east side of town in the early morning hours of May 8, 2015, where during the course of the robbery, one of the victims was shot and killed. Two juveniles have also been charged out of this same incident. The following adult individuals that have been indicted are:
Keshawn Bowman Ross, age 18, Westerville, OH 43081
Carl Brantford, age 21, Groveport, OH 43125
Trevon McCreary, age 18, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068
Charles Scott, age 18, Columbus, OH 43068
The counts in the indictments include Aggravated Murder with Specification (unclassified), Murder (unclassified), Aggravated Robbery with Specification (F-1), Kidnapping with Specification (F-1), Tampering with Evidence (F-3), and Having Weapons While Under Disability (F-3). O’Brien commended the Columbus Police Department for their investigation and apprehension of the suspects. “The four adult defendants all face potential life sentences if convicted of the charges,” O’Brien stated. Arraignments are set for the four adult defendants on Wednesday, May 20th at 1:30 pm in courtroom 2B at 345 S. High Street in Columbus.
