Mother Indicted For Rape Of Her 10 Month Old Baby

Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced today that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned an indictment against Ashley Jessup, age 24, in connection to the August 30, 2011 sexual abuse of her 10 month old son at their home located at 4338 Camden Circle in Dublin. Jessup has been indicted for two counts (F-1) Rape, one count (F-2) Endangering Children, and one count (F-2) Pandering Sexually Oriented Matter Involving a Minor, for a total of four counts. The defendant allegedly performed sexual acts on her baby while videotaping the abuse, and then sent the video to her boyfriend in another state. “If Jessup is convicted for the rape of her child under 13 years of age, she faces up to life in prison”, O’Brien stated. Arraignment for Jessup is set for Monday, September 12^th, at 1:30 pm in courtroom 2A at 345 S. High Street.
